How to Teach the Months of the Year?

Teaching the months to students can be a fun and engaging experience. The best way to introduce the months to your students is to use a visual aid such as a calendar or a chart. You can also use a fun song or poem to help them remember the months in order. For example, the popular rhyme “Thirty days hath September, April, June, and November” is a great way to help students remember the months with 30 or 31 days. Additionally, you can use games and activities to help students learn the months. For example, a “Months of the Year” memory game can help students remember the order of the months. You can also have students draw pictures of the different seasons to help them remember the months associated with each season.

While teaching your children about the months, you can also focus on days of the week.  If your students are learning about time, we also have many clock worksheets.
