Tracing Numbers 1-5

Tracing Numbers is a great way for your pre-schooler to learn both how to write and hold a pencil/crayon, in addition to learning their numbers.

Making it fun to learn goes a long way when teaching the younger children. Our worksheets with big-bold numbers are perfect for the beginners who are developing their fine motor skills. If your students have not mastered using a pencil, give them crayons to trace the numbers. Once they have successfully traced the numbers with a crayon, have them move on to using a pencil.

Tracing the numbers 1 through 5 will give your students the skills and confidence to move on to more challenging activities. Repetition is helpful, as well, so print out multiple copies of the tracing numbers worksheets for the students.

The second worksheet provides the opportunity for students to count objects, before they trace and write the numbers.
