Learning to match uppercase letters, also referred to capital letters, to lowercase letters is an important early reading skill.  These alphabet worksheets will enhance your child’s knowledge of the alphabet.  Some letter pairs look similar, such as ‘O’ and ‘o’, or can be quite different, such as ‘Q’ and ‘q’. Through practice, instant recognition of the different case forms of each letter is an important first step to literacy.

Have your students draw a line from the capital letters to the lowercase letters.

We also have an extensive library of worksheets to help teach your children to identify and write, consonants and vowels.
